Dan Gale is an industrial-metal solo artist based in the U.S. Mid-South. Performing faceless and resolute—he channels themes of deprogramming, autonomy, and rebellion. His music fuses machine-tight riffs with glitch-scarred atmospherics, striking a balance between discipline and chaos.
Influenced by the complexity of Rush and King Crimson, the grit of Megadeth, and the uncompromising weight of Ministry and Fear Factory, Gale’s work rejects conformity while carrying the authority of veteran energy.
His debut, Does Not Play Well With Others, laid the groundwork. Follow-up Fip the Trite Lantastic expanded his range. With Null Protocol, Gale sharpens his identity into a focused industrial manifesto.
Since he is a multi-instrumentalist, and is featured performing every instrument and vocal track on his debut solo album, the title DOES NOT PLAY WELL WITH OTHERS, was one he thought was appropriate.
Dan's second album released on August 24th, 2024, and is entitled FIP THE TRITE LANTASTIC. This album features 8 new tracks, and covers a bit more genre ground, including the acoustic track "Facet", and the electronically-charged "Skin Hunger". In a discussion about the album, Gale stated that "...I wanted to show more musical flexibility, while still creating songs that are enjoyable and worthwhile.."
Dan's third album, NULL PROTOCOL, has recently released. When asked about the album, Dan said that "...(the album) definitely has darker parts to it, but the feel of it is still totally "me". I think each album has gotten progressively better, and this one shows the next part of my growth and evolution as an artist. I can't wait to share it!"
Like NULL PROTOCOL, both DOES NOT PLAY WELL WITH OTHERS and FIP THE TRITE LANTASTIC are also available on all major streaming services.
